Mohan Pandithage leads Hayleys

Mohan Pandithage took over as Chairman and Chief Executive of Hayleys PLC on Wednesday, July 1 on the retirement of N.G. (Tanky) Wickremaratne.

Mr Pandithage joined the Group in 1969 as a Management Trainee and progressed to head Hayleys in a long and successful career of 40 years.

He headed the Transportation Sector of the Group for over 30 years and is responsible for its growth and development during that time, officials said.

An alumnus of Ananda College, Mr. Pandithage is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Logistics and Transport, a Director of the Sri Lanka Port Management Consultancy Services and a member of the Presidential Committee on Maritime Matters.
