Korean connection at Ranmal

Forty Buddhist monks from South Korea were on a humanitarian promotional tour of Sri Lanka recently.
The tour was organized by Sri Lankan Embassy in Korea and the monks had their sessions at Ran Mal Hotel accompanied by the Ambassador Asitha Perera.

Brian Perera, the operational Consultant to Ranmal Holiday Resort, made this project possible. He initiated the first Korean project in last December for youth to have their kitchen training programme sponsored by YMCA Moratuwa. This helped him to convince the Sri Lanka Ambassador in Korea, who was responsible in getting this 40 monks from South Korea.

‘I think this is a great achievement for the hotel. This shows that Ranmal Hotel has the infrastructure to handle any situation related to leisure, cuisine and entertainment etc’ said Brian Perera.
