Mr. Sri Lanka unfolds with splendour

The 10th Anniversary Fair & Handsome Mr. Sri Lanka National Pageant for three World titles presented by STUDIO 9 unfolded in all its pomp and splendour recently at the Ballroom of Galadari Hotel.

Unlike normal pageants, the theme took the form of a drama at the Pageantry Palace with the Queen, Past Princes who shone and the competing Princes.

After the Queen Subashini announced ‘Let the Fair & Handsome Show Begin’ the drama unfolded in all its splendour, pomp and glory.

Among the Queen’s Advisors were the reigning Manhunt International Abdelmoumen El Maghraouy, Representative of the International Body Polish born Rafal Sojka and cosmetologist Dr. Rashmi Shety from Mumbai.

Manhunt International was flown through the courtesy of BIONA & Judge Rafal Sojka through VMS Travel Services Pvt Ltd. Ashan Fernndo was the Palace Announcer, while the Court Musicians and dancers kept the audience entertained.

The Southern Coasters carried away most titles. The event was held under the patronage of Gamini Lokuge, Minister of Sports and Public Recreation where beauty and empathy united on a common platform when Wheel Chair Dancers for whom funds were raised performed alongside contestants.

The three Princes Dinesh de Silva, Suranga Perera and Arosh Da Silva will represent Sri Lanka at the International Pageants coming up shortly.
