Bollywood films on miniscreen

Rupavahini has a line up of popular Bollywood movie series starting with ‘Veer Zaara’ during the month of April. Starring Shahrukh Khan, Preity Zinta and Rani Mukerji in the leading roles, musical love story ‘Veer Zaara’ directed by Yash Chopra will be shown at 10.30 pm on April 7.

Award winning Indian epic film ‘Jodhaa-Akbar’ starring Hrithik Roshan and Aishwarya Rai will be shown on Saturday, April 11 at 10.10 pm. Directed and produced by Ashutosh Gowariker, the film centers around the romance between the Muslim Moghal Emperor Akbar the Great and his Hindu wife Jodhabai. The music is composed by academy awarded Indian musician A. R. Rahman.

On April 18 at 10.10 pm Rupavahini also telecast Bunty Aur Babli (Bunty and Babli), 2005 Bollywood movie directed by Shaad Ali and starring Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan, and Rani Mukerji.

Dilka Rishta directed by Naresh Malhotra will be shown on April 25. Woven around a multi-millionaire falls head over heels in love with a teacher in a school for the deaf and dumb the film stars Aishwarya Rai, Arjun Rampal and Priyanshu Chatterjee.
