Edirisinghe Trust Investments (ETI) recently opened four new pawning centres in Moneragala, Tissamaharama, Kegalle and Eheliyagoda.
While maintaining its focus on expanding its revenue base, the company also made major upgrades to the central bus depots in Moneragala and Tissamaharama to coincide with the new branch openings. The bus depots have undergone an extensive cleaning and colour washing and the company has also installed new sign boards, four new colour televisions and comfortable new seating, according to a company statement.
At the opening ceremony held at Tissamaharama, ETI CEO Mahendra De Silva said that, “ETI has a responsibility to invest in our people and our future and what better way to do so than to upgrade our public transportation infrastructure.” ETI will be carrying out similar upgrades to bus depots in Welimada, Matara, and Ampara before April 30 where they will also be opening fully fledged pawning centres. |
