Galle Literary Festival

A full day Children's Programme was conducted on Saturday January 31, at the Galle Literary Festival. The events were held at Thomas Gall International School, in Lighthouse Street, Galle Fort.

The children, divided into three age groups enjoyed a day of fun and activities, with a break for a picnic lunch.

There were many events such as story-telling, performing, poetry, creating limericks, singing, fun with paper, paste and paint, and a treasure hunt through the streets of Galle Fort.

The highlight of the programme was the story reading session by well-known children's author, Michael Morpurgo, who kept the older kids as well as the parents, interested and entertained.
