Crabs galore at ‘The COMMONS’

'The COMMONS', Colombo city's popular Coffee House is all geared to treat, spoil and pamper its now-faithful Sri Lankan and expatriate clientele with an exciting 'Crab Promo' till October 31.

Catering to the varying gastronomic preferences of its varied customers till end October are a series of mouth watering and melt-in-the-mouth dishes such as Crab Bisque, Crab Salad, Crab Cake, Crab Stir Fry with Leek and Ginger, Spicy Crab pasta, Crab Pie with Salad and Baked Crab.

The Commons also celebrates Halloween Day on October 31 with a crazily scrumptious 'Halloween Menu' comprising Witches Pumpkin and Black Bean Soup, Rumbledthumps (Celtic Potato, Cabbage and Cheese Gratin with Chicken), Ghostly Hot Chocolate and Vampire's Special Dessert. Indulging is believing. There's also a Halloween Competition for children where two lucky kids will get two Harpo's Pizzas each.

The coziest and favourite hang-out of expatriates, corporates, teenagers, housewives and everybody in between, The COMMONS' cool and comfy ambiance attracts guests through the day … to chat over a hearty long meal, grab a quick rushed bite or even sit quietly in a corner and read over a chilled or hot drink.

Free WiFi connectivity adds to the experience … inviting guests to laze around over a drink and a bite, and explore the limitless world of the web, while the weekly Visiting Card Draw brings its winner two Harpo's Pizzas.

Meanwhile "Sunday All Day Breakfast" at The Commons continues as usual from 9.00 am to midnight while the usual Monday to Friday breakfast is also operative from 7.30 - 11.00 am daily. Added to this is the "Rotti Cart on Wheels" still operating big time, luring Colombo's kottu lovers with its tantalising and scrumptious range of kottus.
