Oil exploration deal before parliament

An adjournment motion on the government’s agreement with an Indian company for oil and natural gas exploration and production in the Mannar Basin will be debated in Parliament on Wednesday.
The motion will be presented by JVP MP Anura Dissanayake.

Parliament will also debate the extension by another month the emergency regulations.
