Sri Lanka Tennis Association (SLTA) announced that the ‘Milo’ Junior National Tennis Championship will be served off on August 7 and will conclude on August 17.

The main overture to the tournament is the introduction of Chair Umpires from the first round and during the tournament; every court will consist of a ball boy to enhance the productivity of the game and overall tournament.

The tournament will comprise of the following events for boys and girls – under 18 singles, under 16, singles, under 14 singles, under 12 singles, under 18 doubles and under 14 doubles.

Top ranking Junior players will compete at this year’s tournament and to increase the level of competition, Some Junior players who reside overseas have also confirmed their participation. They are Vimuktha De Alwis and Arrvind Fernando.
