The much-anticipated ‘One Love 2026 – A Tribute to Bob Marley’ reggae festival, which was postponed in March due to tensions in the Middle East, has now been officially rescheduled. The event will take place this August at the same venue in Bentota, promising an exciting celebration of music and culture inspired by reggae legend Bob Marley.

Originally planned as a three-day celebration in March, organisers confirmed that South Asia’s first-ever three-day reggae music festival will now come alive from Friday, August 7 to Sunday, August 9, 2026.

The festival pays tribute to reggae legend Bob Marley and promises three days filled with music, culture and island vibes. The event is expected to bring together reggae lovers, local and international performers, and music fans looking for a unique beachside experience.

Set against the scenic coastal backdrop of Bentota, the festival aims to celebrate reggae music, peace, unity and the spirit of ‘One Love’ that made Bob Marley a global icon.

The festival will feature 9 legendary international reggae headlining artistes making it one of the largest reggae gatherings ever staged in the South Asian region. Starting daily from 5.00 pm. onwards, fans can expect three days of vibrant music, cultural expression and unity.

The festival proudly pays tribute to the timeless legacy of reggae icons including Bob Marley and The Wailers, as well as pioneers such as Peter Tosh, Bunny Wailer and Gregory Isaacs, honouring their enduring influence on global music, peace, love and unity.

Organised as a celebration of love, diversity, and togetherness, the ‘ONE LOVE Reggae Festival’ aims to position Sri Lanka as a vibrant destination for international entertainment and leisure.

With the new dates now confirmed, organisers say preparations are underway to deliver an even bigger and more vibrant festival this August.

Flat rate tickets and curated hotel packages will be available from May 2026 with early bird offers on www.onelove.lk ticketing platform.
