View(s):It was their night! Nearly 100 young performers took to the stage, representing a diverse range of disciplines and genres as Trinity College London, Sri Lanka celebrated the achievements of over 350 students receiving Trinity awards and diplomas.
The annual concert, held on Saturday, March 28 this year, is the highlight of their calendar—a moment that the students, teachers, and parents look forward to, that provides a valuable platform for the young performers to express themselves and gain confidence. Many students say that this experience inspires them to reach even greater heights.

Trinity conducted around 6,000 exams in 2025 in Sri Lanka. These included face-to-face practical exams in Music and Drama, with examiners travelling from the UK, as well as written Theory of Music examinations. The digital exam options continue to grow, offering flexibility across Music, Drama, and Rock & Pop. In addition, English Language qualifications remain highly sought after by students aiming to enhance their opportunities for education, employment, and global mobility.
At Trinity, they believe these examinations offer far more than artistic achievement. They help develop essential life skills—confidence, communication, creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and adaptability. For many students, this is the beginning of a journey toward professional training and lifelong success, even beyond the stage.
The chief guest at this year’s awards was Sachin Das, National Manager for Trinity India and Head of Operations and Business for the Indian Subcontinent.
