Jazz & Blues at Honey Beach Club
View(s):Colombo’s live music scene will come alive this Easter Sunday with an evening of smooth rhythms and soulful melodies as ‘Honey Beach Club’ at the Kingsbury Hotel hosts a special Jazz & Blues Night on April 5, 2026 from 5.30 pm. onwards.
Headlining the sundown setting event is acclaimed vocalist Jerome Speldewinde, performing with his celebrated bandwagon, promising a stylish showcase of jazz standards and contemporary favourites in an elegant pollside setting.
Sharing the spotlight is the dynamic jazz ensemble ‘MINTAKA’, featuring Premal Liyanage on guitar, Malith Perera on keyboards, Nilantha Perera on bass and Christopher Joseph on drums. Known for their vibrant arrangements and improvisational flair, the group is set to deliver an engaging performance blending classic jazz influences with modern expression.
The evening will also feature special appearances by some of Colombo’s most admired jazz artistes, including Dilukshi Sirimane, Revel Crake and Ray Gomes, adding further depth and variety to the programme.
As the sun sets over the city, guests can unwind to smooth jazz rhythms while enjoying an array of curated offerings, including BBQ favourites, exclusive bottle deals and signature cocktail pitchers featuring Pimm’s, Mojitos and Martinis. A special Happy Hour from 6.00 to 7.00 pm. adds to the experience, creating the perfect opportunity to relax, socialise and
soak in the atmosphere by the ocean.
