Janashakthi Life’s children’s art competition attracts over 20,000 entries
View(s):Janashakthi Life’s ‘Nidahas Adahas’ children’s art competition attracted more than 20,000 entries from across the country last year. The top 100 art pieces across two age categoris were displayed at the Sri Lanka Foundation Institute, turning the venue into a vibrant gallery of youth expression. First, second and third place winners in each category received cash prizes, while all 200 finalists were recognised with gifts and vouchers in appreciation of their talent and effort, the company said in a media release.
A panel of judges, Kalapathi, Kalabooshana Pulasti Ediriveera, Ms. Prasadani Kumari, and Prageeth Rathnayake oversaw a rigorous selection process, recognising the outstanding talent that is emerging from across the island. In addition to the exhibition, Janashakthi Life hosted a complimentary art workshop designed to nurture learning and skill development among young participants.
