Religious ceremoines were held this week to mark the completion of 105 years of the Mallika Nivasa Samithiya (Society) and to invoke blessings on the founder Mallika Hewavitarne.

Former and current office-bearers of the society and inmates of the elders home managed by the society participated in the ceremonies led by Chief incumbent of the Ashokarama temple Ven Getahette Sobitha Thera, while the anusasanawa was delivered by Ven Kamurugamuwe Mahanaga Thera of Vajiraramaya Temple, Bambalapitiya.
