Tik Tok : Joins hands with ‘Dancing Star’
View(s):The most awaited and widely watched reality programme in Sri Lanka, ‘Dancing Star’ which commenced on 26th July 2025, is aired every Saturday at 8.30pm on Sirasa TV. The programme that brought together 48 well-known artistes from various fields now includes many talented and loved personalities. ‘Dancing Star’ is set to be broadcasted over 33 weeks.
Tik Tok, which is globally recognised, has officially joined hands with ‘Dancing Star’ as the official entertainment partner. This collaboration was made possible through the mutual understanding between the two parties.
Umais Naveed, the Head of Content for TikTok South Asia said that this partnership is a significant step in bringing entertainment to audiences through digital platforms. He also said that this collaboration is expected to take the digital entertainment industry to the next level.
This partnership also aims to create opportunities for talented Sri Lankans in different fields and introduce them to a wider audience.
Rashiprabha and Heshan joins as the hosts of this programme, while Chandimal Jayasinghe, the National Director of the Mrs. World Pageant, trainer Sara Abeywardena and popular dance and singer star Dushyanth Weeraman are serve as the Judges.
