Opener Nithish Kamalasooriya shone for Ananda Sastralaya Kotte on the opening day against traditional rivals St. John’s College, Nugegoda in their 24th Battle of
Sri Jayewardenepura which began at the P. Sara Stadium yesterday.
Kamalasooriya’s knock saw the Sastralians, taking first lease of the wicket, make a modest score of 204. The Johnians in their turn ended the day on
