Calypso and Dunhinda Odyssey to Badulla, Bandarawela

The ‘Calypso’ special tourist train operating from Badulla to Bandarawela was launched by Transport and Highways Minister Bandula Gunawardana on Friday at the Badulla Railway Station.

The train has a viewing coach and a dining compartment.

A special luxury tourist train named ‘Dunhinda Odyssey’ operating from Badulla to Colombo Fort was launched in commemoration of the 100th anniversary of train travel from Badulla to Colombo.

The train will operate three days a week (Tuesday, Friday and Saturday) and will stop at 10 tourist attractions along the way.
