Donald felicitated by his own school

Renowned film maker and popular Assistant Director (AD) in Sri Lankan cinema Donald Jayantha, who is planning to set a record as the first AD to 100 films, was recently felicitated by his own Alma Mata, ‘Kotapola National School’ in Matara.
The AD of film such as ‘Praveena’ and the director of ‘Maya’ and ‘Pravegaya’ was honoured by school principal Premaratne Abeywickrema and teachers and the student community for his outstanding contribution to Sri Lankan cinema. Donald was also recently felicitated by Kotapola Multi-Service Corporative Society of Morawaka Korale.
The event was attended by Donald’s colleagues including Mahendra Perera, Isuru Lokuhettiarachchi and few others.
