Celebrating the French Spring Festival 2023, French Film Festival, one of the much awaited events by cinema lovers, will be held from July 6 to 9 at Tharangani Theatre of National Film Corporation (NFC) at Bauddhaloka Mawatha, Colombo 7.

Organised every year by the French Embassy in Sri Lanka together with the Alliance Française network in Sri Lanka and the Maldives, with the support of sponsors and official partners, the entrance for the festival will be free of charge.

The queen of Sri Lankan cinema Mrs Malani Fonseka will be the guest of honor while Ambassador of France to Sri Lanka and the Maldives, Jean-François Pactet, will be the chief guest.

From comedy and thriller, to documentary and animated movies, a total of six movies will be shown at the festival which would suit for all audiences.  The festival will be open to public from July 7 and the screenings will be held at 3PM and 6PM.
