Galle recorded their second successive win of the ongoing National Super League four-day cricket tournament after demolishing Kandy by 10 wickets with a day to spare at P. Sara Stadium yesterday. This was another ending in the third day following the first two matches played last week where incidentally Kandy was one of the winners.

Dambulla was in line to record an outright win against Jaffna in another match of the same tournament at the SSC ground. Dambulla, chasing a target of 199 runs for victory, was well placed on 154-4 when play ended yesterday. Dambulla need another 45 runs to gain their first win.
