Colombo Synergy All Stars emerge Cup champs at Rugby Chiangmahi 10s in Thailand

Champions -- Colombo Synergy All Stars
Colombo Synergy Rugby All Stars (CSRAS) participated in Chiangmahi Rugby 10s in Thailand representing Sri Lanka and emerged champs by beating COBRA Chiangmahi 33-5. Colombo Synergy All Stars performed exceptionally well at the two-day tournament with Ifham Sheriff leading the side. Others in the team were Chanaka Fonseka, Hadil Nasir, Chamara Hewage, Shafraz Iqbal, Dinesh Balendran, Mathew, Afzal Ibrahim, Yousuf, Irfan Lye and the coach cum player Nazeem Ghaffoor.
Chanaka Fonseka bagged the award for Best Player of the Tournament with his outstanding performance throughout the competition. Colombo Synergy Rugby All Stars has participated many international tournaments in the past and emerged victorious in all. The team CSRAS became runners-up in Keliz Conglay Rugby Tournament in 2018 held in Malaysia and also won the Plate championship in 2019 in Bali 10s Indonesia.
