Education Ministry to fill vacancies
The Education Ministry is planning to fill all vacancies in the Sector within the next two weeks. Among the vacancies to be filled are 12,000 teachers, 3,000 principals and 900 Sri Lanka Education Service vacancies created due to recent staff retirements. China donates uniform material and rice for Lanka’s schoolchildren
The Chinese government donated 8,862,990 metres of cloth to the Education Ministry as school uniform material for the 2023 academic year.
