Alterations to AL candidates’ admission cards allowed till January 18

The Department of Examinations states that any alterations to be made in the subject, medium or name set forth in the admission cards received by Principals and private candidates for the upcoming GCE Advanced Level Examination should be revised online.

The alterations can be made by accessing http://onlineexams.gov.lk/eic

It should be noted that only one attempt of revision will be given to each candidate.

Revision of name, National Identity Card number in the database will only be permitted subject to a formal inquiry, and any request failing to authenticate will be denied. The Department notes that examination centres will not be changed. The duration offered for changes will close at 12 midnight on January 18, 2023.

The NIC issued by the Department of Registration of Persons, a valid Passport or a valid Driving Licence will be legally acceptable documents to prove the identity of a candidate at the examination.

The examination is scheduled to be held from January 23 to February 17.
