The Covid-19 pandemic has posed many challenges to all sectors, from healthcare to tourism.

However, one of the greatest challenges had to be borne by the education sector, which had to come to a screeching halt with the onset of the first wave in early 2020. From many students around the globe being unable to access online learning, to the postponement of exams, education has been the hardest hit from this global crisis, and discussion is needed to overcome these challenges.

Redefining Classrooms Phase 2.0 is a conference organized by Chokolaate Magazine in partnership with TISSL (The International Schools of Sri Lanka). Its aim is to bring together the principals of schools both local and international, and heads of educational institutes to initiate a discussion on how to move forward with education in the face of Covid-19, going back to school, and adhering to the hybrid model of teaching. The intention of this conference is to be a starting point on this topic, leading to further discussion in
the future. In order to function effectively during this pandemic and safeguard the quality of education, Chokolaate believes it is crucial to bring together stakeholders in the field of education in Sri Lanka.

Redefining Classrooms Phase 2.0 will be held on the 11th February 2022 from 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM at the Jasmine Hall at BMICH, with over 30 schools participating.

The event agenda includes a speech by Mr. Boshan Dayaratne, group director/CEO of CICRA Campus (Pvt.) Ltd., who will be the keynote speaker. Guest speaker
Ms. Rasini Bandara, psychologist at Mind Heals and founder of LAPS will also be sharing her insights. In addition, there will be a panel discussion followed by a Q&A session.

Chokolaate would like to give special thanks to the title sponsor UCL and silver sponsors CIMA, Imperial College, and Deakin University.

Chokolaate is a youth organization that has been in existence for the past 15 years. In addition to publishing the Chokolaate magazine, they also have a PR branch and an event management branch and a Media branch.
