View(s):With the focus of offering excellent academic paths to students, Rosedale Academy in Ontario & Asian Institute of Business & Science (AIBS) have introduced the Global University Pathway programme (GUPP) in Sri Lanka.
The Global University Pathway Programme (GUPP) comprises of the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (1-year university pathway) which can be completed in 10 months of full-time study at AIBS.
This pre-university pathway programme is offered in the streams of business, science & engineering and is ideal for students after O/L who are looking at a quality yet an affordable and globally recognized pathway programme which would eventually support them to get entry in to leading universities worldwide.
Further, students who have not obtained the expected results in their Advanced level exams are also eligible to apply for this programme without having to face the hassle of repeating A/L.
The curriculum of the OSSD encourages analytical and critical thinking while the method of continuing assessment focuses on the application of knowledge, therefore it prepares the student for the education system once they start the degree at their chosen university.
