Students from Matara with books from a donor
View(s):A private donor has come forward to donate school books and offer scholarships to students in the Matara district. The donations took place close to the historic bodhiya in Matara.
Ven. Waskaduwe Mahindawansa Thera conducted the religious events of the programme to make the donations. The donor, Ms. Krishanthi Jeewanthi Peduruarachchi, chairperson of SSB group of companies took part in the event with the Municipal Commissioner Palliya Guruge, Matara HQI Dhammika Amarasena and several others.
