The Government has decided to modernise the printing press of the Exams Dept with a digital printing system, to secure confidentiality of exam papers.
The Education Ministry is to provide the contract to MS Metropolitan Office (Pvt) Ltd at a cost of US$ 2.9 million (Rs 15 million).
The current printing equipment at the Exams Dept has been in use for over 30 years.
