Credit cards: “Boon or bane?”

Three panellists representing government agencies, commercial banks and a sociology professor will be discussing a range of issues pertaining to the use of credit and debit cards. Uncontrolled spending by credit cards users with debt rising recently drew the attention of the Central Bank to increase interest rates in a bid to reduce spending.
