New GMs
Giles Selves has been appointed Area General Manager overseeing Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, Anantara Kalutara Resort and Avani Kalutara Resort
Mr. Selves, who is British, started out as a headwaiter at the Sheraton Park Tower, A luxury Collection Hotel in the UK. He joined Anantara in August 2015 as general manager for Anantara Mai Khao Phuket Villas & Anantara Vacation Club Phuket in Thailand.
At Anantara Peace Haven Tangalle Resort, Ross Sanders has taken over as its new General Manager. He was previously appointed for his first position as GM at the Anantara Pangkor Laut Resort. Sanders, who is Scottish, brings to the role 13 years of varied and diverse experience in the hospitality industry.
 ONYX Hospitality Group has appointed Maheesha Ratnayake as the Hotel Manager at OZO Colombo. With more than 16 years of hospitality experience in the USA, Caribbean and Middle East, Mr. Ratnayake has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration-Concentration in International Business from Towson University in the US. He has held the positions of Director of Food and Beverages at Nobu Hospitality in Saudi Arabia, and Sandals Montego Bay Beach Resort & Spa and Beaches Ocho Rios Resort & Golf Club in Jamaica. | |
