The once-flooded streets are now filled with bags of clothes, television sets, electrical appliances and other items that were under several feet of water and mud for several days. This Sedawatte scene captured by our photojournalist Amila Gamage yesterday is a familiar sight in several parts of the flood-hit areas, though the manner in which this youth is going to work indicates that life has to go on in good times and in bad.
