‘TELENISA’ teaches teledrama making

The inanuguration function of the teledrama production course conducted by the Tele Makers’ Guild with the objective of generating a perfect set of artistes with a view to recreate a teledrama art full of artistic value as it existed in the past, will be held on Sunday, September 6 at 9.30 a.m. at Lions’ Club Headquarters, Vidya Mawatha, Colombo 07 and the function will be headed by Professor D.B. Nihalsinghe, a veteran in the Sri Lankan teledrama field.

This course aims at providing theoretical knowledge expanding from the pre-teledrama production stage and covering up all the fields related to production of a teledrama while providing unlimited opportunities on practical exercises, opportunities will also be provided to the trainees to enter the field, based on their talents and abilities, and contribute to teledrama productions of veteran artistes of the field.

Veterans of the field of local teledrama art; Somaweera Senanayake, Sudath Rohana, Anura Madhawa Jayasekera, Sathischandra Edirisinghe, Shriyani Amarasena and Bandula Weerakkody including Executive Members of the Tele Makers’ Guild, resource personnel of the course and selected trainees will participate at this inaugurative function.
