Cinnamon Hotels & Resorts participated in the grand finale of the Miss England held in Birmingham, UK, before a 500-strong celebrity audience. Cinnamon was proud to be part of this gala event as per its agreement with the Miss. England Organisation. The eagerly-awaited event was covered by BBC and draws a wide global television audience.

Leveraging further on its understanding with the Miss. England Organization, the winner of Miss England and Mr. England together with a few finalists will be flown to Sri Lanka for a lifestyle photo-shoot directed by one of the leading Indian fashion lifestyle photographer’s Dinesh Khanna from 6th to 23rd September 2015. This prominent appearance by the Cinnamon brand at yet another high profile global event is a triumph for the brand and puts the spotlight on Sri Lanka.

As a contemporary and stylish brand, Cinnamon epitomizes a distinctive Asian hospitality offering for the new age. This niche brand positioning has been further reinforced with its collaboration with the global and fashion and beauty industry, whilst simultaneously spearheading thought leadership for the industry by way of conferences on future of tourism and so on.

Cinnamon has forged valued alliances with Miss France, Miss China, Miss England and Miss India pageants, which enabled the brand to be showcased prominently at the pageants in those countries. The winners are then hosted for an enjoyable stay at Cinnamon Hotel & Resorts in Sri Lanka while they experience all that Sri Lanka has to offer. Recently, the brand hosted reputed fashion photographer and TV host, Nigel Barker, to share his knowledge and experiences with the local fashion fraternity. The brand’s commitment to uplift the industry is clearly visible in its endeavour to be instrumental in putting the spotlight on the talent of local designers in the global arena.

Two local designers were also featured at the event with the Envoy London tuxedo collection showcased by Hameedia together with the work of Sonali Dharmawardena. Other partners included BeCandy Clothing, Mon Cheri and Billion Dollar Smile Cosmetics.
