Award winning playwright E.M.D. Upali’s latest theatrical production “Idamedee Wikine” (The Cherry Orchard) will go on the boards at 7.00 pm on Sunday, January 12 at Lionel Wendt Theatre.
Based on renowned Russian playwright Anton Chekhov’s ‘the Cherry Orchard’, the play stars Nilmini Sigera, Lakshman Mendis, W. Jayasiri, Wasantha Wittachchi, Prasannajith Abeysooriya, Prasad Sooriyaarachchi, Ama Wijesekera, Jehan Srikantha, Sulochana Weerasinghe, Kalana Gunasekera and Mihiri Priyangani.
Theja Buddhika Rodrigo (Meesha) handles the musical score.
