‘Ginza on the Edge’ at Water’s Edge

‘Ginza on the Edge’, the authentic Japanese Restaurant and the newest addition to the Waters Edge hotel in Battaramulla, was opened at the Water’s Edge on the 23rd of December 2013. The opening ceremony was hosted by veteran Chef Rohan Fernandopulle, General Manger of Water’s Edge with the Chief Guests for the evening being Mr. and Mrs. Gotabaya Rajapakse in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan in Sri Lanka Nobuhito Hobo.

‘Ginza’ serves specially prepared authentic Japanese cuisine. It is the latest themed restaurant at the Water’s Edge to be opened for the season. The Italian restaurant ‘Pranzo’ opened its doors in early December. ‘GINZA on the Edge’ is situated on the first floor of the hotel with a splendid view of the surrounding waters of the Diyawanna Oya and the Diyatha Uyana open leisure park. 

Facilities at the Waters Edge hotel include restaurants of international standard, bar, coffee shop, convention halls, floating restaurant, fully equipped gym, swimming pool and much more.
