Veteran television presenter and well-known compere Kumar de Silva who blows a ‘bonfire of candles’ on his birthday cake next Friday 20 December, is back as emcee in Colombo’s dinner dance circuit next year. A much sought after and popular emcee at corporate events, he took a short break from dinner dances during the past few years.

“I’m now back with a bigger bang and am looking forward to a great time at lots more dinner dances in the New Year”, he said enthusiastically. Author of two of this year’s best sellers – ‘The Bonsoir Diaries’ and ‘Irangani’, he’s currently getting ready for next year’s “Nostalgie04 – Notre Dame Cathedral” – his exhibition of black and white photographs presented by the Alliance Francaise de Kotte.
