First event management company in Kandy
The first event management company in Kandy was launched recently with former Chief Executive Officer of Seylan Bank and former Chairman of the National Savings Bank Eastman Narangoda giving out his experiences in a problematic situation in the banking sector. He was the Chief Guest for the occasion.The new company is the brainchild of Asela B.B. Boomawala, Chairman of the company which goes as “Staid Event Management.”
He told the Business Times that after securing a degree he thought of having an enterprise of his own, which is different from other established business houses in Kandy, deviating from his parents who are banking professionals. The inauguration at the 5-Star Mahaweli Reach hotel saw a packed and rapt audience listen to Mr. Narangoda. The participants were from various fields of business.
