View(s):Locally-based website theentrepreneur.lk is offering three resources for Sri Lankan entrepreneurs, access to business consultants, an entrepreneur-centric magazine and office space at an affordable price, according to a statement.
Elaborating, the statement also indicated that it allows access to “renowned entrepreneurs and business consultants who own top businesses in the country to help you identify market opportunities, revenue lines, design strategies and sound financial models”.
Additionally, its web-based “Entrepreneur Magazine” is stated as offering the following: “Local stories of entrepreneurs who started with little or no capital give enough reason to believe that a business requires a great idea, a solid plan and an excellent team. Capital requirement sits right at the bottom. Although the magazine currently features content directly targeted at startups, the future plan is to feature quality content aimed at creating impactful entrepreneurs capable of demonstrating leadership, building great brands, developing sound financial models and expanding into international markets”.
At the same time, the website provides cost-effective office space, in partnership with Regus Sri Lanka, providing an “opportunity for entrepreneurs to set up businesses at the World Trade Centre Colombo at an affordable price. This will significantly help entrepreneurs build a favorable brand identity leveraging the business essence of the location. On the other hand, emerging entrepreneurs have the luxury of occupying desk space at Colombo -3 for as low as Rs. 10,000 a month”.(JH)
