‘Chaya’ on every weekday
View(s):Sandun Rajakaruna’s latest tele direction ‘Chaya’, based on Sujeewa Prasanna Arachchi’s popular novel will be telecast every weekday at 9 pm on Sirasa TV.
The teledrama is played by Vishvanath Kodikara, Maheshi Madusanka, Meena Kumari, Sanjeewani Weerasinghe, Sanath Wimalasiri, Menaka Maduwanthi, Kamal Deshapriya, Ishara Sandamini, Sanketh Wickremage and Hemantha Iriyagama in the main cast.
The triangular love story revolves ‘Chaya’ who starts working in clothing shop. The owner of the clothing shop, Asanga Ranatunga starts a special interest in her while Asanga’s cousin also develops an interest to win her heart. Chaya’s love is also sought by her cousin Manjula. The teleplay unravels the final winner of the young girl’s heart.
Camera by Manjula Roshan Ambepitiya, Sampath Wanniaarchchi is the art director and Sameera Madhu Kindelpitiya is the make-up artiste. ‘Chaya’ is produced by Dr. Upul Jayasinghe.
