A century for “Gabbara Minisa”
View(s):The hundredth show of theatre and cinema actor Sriyantha Mendis’ play “Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man) goes on the boards at 3.30 pm and 6.30 pm at Borella Namel Malani Punchi Theatre.
A star class cast including Sarath Kothalawela, Wasantha Vittachchi, Malkanthi Jaysinghe, Sujeewa Priyalal, Mihiri Priyangani, Kusum Renu and Sriyantha will perform in the play.
Talented musician Anthony Surendra directed music while popular Derana dream star Upeka Nirmani renders her voice for the play.
Choreographed by senior lecturer Ariyarathne Kaluaarachchi, make up by Wasantha Vittachchi and costume design is by Nipuni Mindis.
Stage lighting by Upali Weerasinghe, stage management of “Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man) is done by Himashi Vithanage, Sameera Hettiarachchi and Neil Ravindra. Stage setting is by Luvolin Vandawall.
“Gabbara Minisa” (Pregnant Man) is based on an adoption by Ajith Mendis from a book written by W. S. Wijesinghe. This drama is organised and presented by Jude Srimal. All seats have been box-planned and tickets are avilable at Namel Malani Punchi Theater.
