‘Sokari’, a play made based on old folk drama in Sri Lanka will go on the boards at 8.15 a.m. and 10.45 am on February 15 at Kandy Hindhu Cultural Centre.

The play was designed according to the rural traditions of Shanthikarmas that were performed to goddess Paththini seeking fertility and prosperity.

Directed by award winning director Jaliya Rajapaksha, ‘Sokari’ runs for two hours and thirty minutes.
