One of the most hilarious theatrical producers in 1990s ‘Thatu’ famed JayasekaraAponsu bring his latest comedy teleplay ‘Madam Sobha’ everyday at 7.27 pm on Rupavahini starting from November 15.

The teleplay stars a group of well-known stars Mercy Edirisinghe, Murie Samarasinghe, Rashmi Sneha, BandulaWijeweera, Sarath Kulanga, HariWimalasena,RathnaSumanapala, Mahinda Karunaratne.
Nimal Yatiwella, D. B. Gangodatenna, Chethana Ketagoda, Malki Gamage, Manoj Denipitiya, GaminiKulasekara and Sasani Iddamalgoda.

The teleplay revolves around a boarding school run by a Madam Sobha played by Jayasekara Aponsu. Named as ‘Resurgence College’, MadamaSobha’s school is run as an ideal place bringing mischievous and disobedient children to be groomed as well disciplined citizens. But Madam Sobha’s all effort fails due to the conduct of a few girls.

The story starts with the entrance of ‘Sithu’, an only daughter of a well-to-do family.

While her parents live in the United States, Sithu lives in Sri Lanka with her grandparents. Her parents who are worried that she cannot be taken to the States because of her conduct search for a good place to discipline her and finally find Madam Sobha’sResurgence College’.
