St. Joseph’s ended the Singer Under 20 Division rugby tournament on a winning note when they outclassed St. Anthony’s by 45 points to 21 at Longden Place.

With this defeat the Antonians ended their season without winning a single game apart from the drawn match against DSS.
Both teams will be demoted to the lower division next season.St. Joseph’s took a commanding 26-7 lead at the breather and collected their points through five goals and two tries to the three goals by St. Anthony’s.

Skipper and No 8 Yohan Keyzer and fly half Rehan Thyagarajah scored two tries each with one each coming from center Kasun Sameers, second rower Shannan de Soysa and wing three Jason Melder. For the Antonians second row Fazlan Rahuman scored two tries and the other came from center Rajinda Gopinath.� R. Rambukwella made the conversions.
