15 MSD officers for Fonseka

Ministerial Security Division personnel have been assigned for the protection of former Army Commander Sarath Fonseka, a police official said yesterday.

Police spokesperson Ajith Rohana said that 15 police officers have been assigned for this purpose.
Mr. Fonseka’s wife Anoma confirmed that the personnel had been assigned from yesterday.

Mr. Fonseka was present yesterday at a blood donation campaign organised by the Anoma Fonseka Foundation in Pitakotte.
