Vandana Luthra speaking at the launch

VLCC health care launched its premium weight loss programme here on January 24. Named Turbo Slim, the therapy that also helps in detoxification was launched by Vandana Luthra, Founder and Mentor, VLCC.

“This unique programme is effective and gives visible results in the shortest time and healthiest manner. The USP of this programme is weight loss, coupled with detoxification that gives complete body purification,” explained Vandana at the launch. She added that a healthy body needs proper nourishment and care but due to fast paced lifestyles, long working hours, disturbed sleep, erratic eating patterns and low activity our body does not get the required nourishment and care, which results in obesity and other related lifestyle diseases. “We have launched this therapy so that even with the present lifestyle, we can still deliver complete wellness,” Vandana further added.

VLCC is a global wellness brand known for its scientific weight loss solutions and skin and hair services. The group has a pan-India footprint and is present in 260 locations across over 109 cities. VLCC also has 19 centres across the UAE, Sri Lanka, Oman, Bahrain, Qatar, Bangladesh and Nepal.

With a staff of nearly 6,000 including experienced specialists like doctors, nutritionists, psychologists, cosmetologist and physiotherapists, they have served over 10 million customers since their inception.
The intention in bringing the VLCC group to Sri Lanka is to help people lead a better life.

“People living here want to be healthier and want to look good. Today wellness is not just a luxury, it is a necessity and it’s needless to spend on clothes and jewels if we are not healthy. If a woman is fit then the family is fit. What people need is the real knowledge on how to lose weight, how to maintain life and look at it as a way of life. We help them with picking food which is nutritious and also tasty,” said Vandana.

“Health is wealth. You should not run after materialistic things because they are not real. If health is with you then everything is with you,” she said.
