Chemistry exhibition from Nov 24-26 on the theme 

Chemistry- our life, our future

The Institute of Chemistry Ceylon is holding another  invaluable Chemistry Exhibition titled CHEMEX-2  to commemorate the International Year of Chemistry  from November 24 - 26 (thursday to Saturday)  at its Headquarters at Adamantane House , 341/22, Kotte Road.

Welikada, Rajagiriya (Near the Rajagiriya Post Office) . The Exhibition which will display numerous information on Food,  Nutrition, Industry, Toxicology,Health, Pharmaceuticals, Complementary Medicine Therapy, Environment, Research etc  will also include Practical demonstrations and Training seminars for Advanced level students together with Chemistry Magic Shows that will all be of lasting and  special interest to school childrfen as well as the general public. The Exhibition will also have informatory stalls from some Universities and the Government Anakyst’s  department.

 Professor J N Oleap Fernando. Honorary Rector of the College of Chemical Sciences of the Institute,states in a media release that the Exhibition will be ceremonially  declared open at 10 am on November 24 th by Mr Errol Fernando , who has involved himself for over 5 decades in Chemistry teaching . Predsentation of awards for the winners of the first ever Inter School National Titration Competition conducted by the College last week  will also take place during this Opening Ceremony.

 The Exhibition will also enable students to  obtain information about the very popular and highly patronised Graduateship and technician Programmes conducted by the College over the past 40 years.
