Funday Times - A Poem for the week

At the zoo

By Anam Ashfaq, Ladies College

On a very fine morning,
We went to the zoo,
My father bought tickets,
To view the zoo.

There were zebras, tigers and snakes,
And fish that lived in great lakes,
And then we got a chance,
To watch the elephant dance.

We looked at the monkeys and rabbits,
And birds with different habits,
The peacock was elegantly,
Showing its feathers
efficiently.

The king of the jungle was sleeping,
And the tall giraffe was roaming,
The seal was playing ball,
And then it was time to leave them all.
