This was his second successive ton and his knock of 171 included 16 boundaries and six towering sixes. Two other top performances came from Moors batsmen Shehan Jayasuriya and Ashen Silva.
The pair made knocks of over 150 with Shehan slamming 152 with 19 boundaries and four sixes and Ashen making an unbeaten 150 which had 16 boundaries and three sixes.

Chilaw Marians left arm pacie Vimukthi Perera with a four wicket haul along with Akila Jayasundara and Sachith Pathirana sent Colts reeling to 93 on day two at the Colts grounds. This was after the Marians having resumed from their overnight score of 265 for 8 added a further 60 runs to end their innings on 325. The Marians score came on the back of a fine ton by Buddi Samarawickrama who made 106 inclusive of nine boundaries and a six.

At Braybrooke Place Shehan and Ashen put on a massive 245 runs partnership for the second wicket as Moors resuming from their overnight score of 88 for 1 went on to make a mammoth score of 409 for 6 declared in reply to Moratuwa SC’s 238.
