In commemoration of International Photography Day which falls on August 19, veteran photographer L. H.R. Wijetunga will present an exhibition of 30 portraits in black and white. The exhibition will be held on August 19, 20 and 21 at the Lionel Wendt.

Rukshan back on stage with his originals

Rukshan Perera will take the stage once again with yet another concert of his original compositions.
‘Rukshan Perera Live in Concert II’ will be held on August 28, at the Bishop’s College auditorium.
This concert is in aid of “Colours of Courage Trust” that is raising funds to build a Cancer Hospital in Jaffna. Guest speaker at the Asian Entrepreneurs’ Association meeting

Dr. Russell Sage from Perth, Australia will be the guest speaker at the Asian Entrepreneurs’ Association meeting on Tuesday, August 16 at the NCC Hall, 59, E.S. Fernando Mawatha, Colombo 6 at 6.30 p.m. He will speak on Biblical prophecies, the current world recession etc.
