ICASL & AMBA Valuation Boot Camp - 2nd intake

In today's fast paced financial world, where new technique advances are the norm, the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Sri Lanka (ICASL), in its continuing efforts to keep the country's financial professionals abreast of changing global patterns has once again organized a comprehensive two-day training programme titled 'ICASL - AMBA Valuation Boot Camp.'

The programme, designed to cover the best practices in cash flow-based and relative valuation techniques for equity securities, is organized in conjunction with Amba Research Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, and will be held on July 30 and 31 at the Cinnamon Grand, Colombo. This is the second such programme, which has been organized subsequent to the overwhelming response received for the inaugural programme held in February.

Specifically targeted at finance and capital market professionals, the two day long programme will afford participants extensive training on valuation concepts with case studies on valuing equity securities, including three Sri Lankan IPOs.

This high-end training programme is specifically targeted at finance professionals who are required to conduct hands-on analysis and valuation of equity investments and senior finance managers in the corporate environment who wish to broaden their understanding of how external investors value their company.

The programme will be given a boost by a well conversant training panel from Amba consisting of Senior Vice President, Global Head of Projects and Transitions Mr. Chanakya Dissanayake (CFA), Vice President, Head of Knowledge Management at Amba Research Lanka Mr. Aruna Perera (CFA), Vice President, Head of Training at Amba Research Lanka Ms. AidhaAhamat and Senior Associate Vice President, Training and Development at Amba Research Lanka Ms. Sarah Yusuf.

The course cost for a single participant will be Sri Lanka Rs. 30,000 and will be limited to 25 participants while a working knowledge of basic excel and finance knowledge is a prerequisite for all participants.
