Edlocate now represents UNSW in Sri Lanka

Edlocate was officially appointed in April 2011 by the University of New South Wales UNSW as a Student Agency of the university in Sri Lanka. With this appointment Edlocate now represents 7 of the top 8 universities in Australia (Go8s) and becomes the leading university representative in Sri Lanka for student recruitment to Australia with directly signed agency agreements with 16 Australian universities.
UNSW is one of Australia's leading research and teaching universities. Established in 1949 UNSW has held a commanding position among the Australian universities for over 60 years with extraordinary achievements. UNSW is a founding member of the prestigious group of Eight "Go8" research intensive universities in Australia and a member of the "Universities 21" international consortium.

With over 50,000 students, including more than 14,000 international students from over 130 different countries, the University offers more than 300 undergraduate and 600 postgraduate programmes, and has developed an extensive network of alumni chapters throughout Asia. UNSW has a broad disciplinary base, with Faculties of Arts and Social Sciences; Built Environment; Engineering; Law; Medicine and Science, as well as the College of Fine Arts, UNSW@ADFA and the Australian School of Business. The most significant of UNSW's programme is its Australia Graduate School of Management (AGSM) MBA Programme which was ranked as the leading full-time MBA in Australia and 35th in the world in the Financial Times (UK) 2011 ranking of the top 100 global MBA programmes. This is the 12th consecutive year the AGSM MBA Programme has ranked in the top 100 MBA programmes worldwide.

With this appointment Edlocate with over a decade of unblemished service to students in Sri Lanka and the Maldives to find internationally recognised quality tertiary qualifications through good Australian universities will certainly be able to provide yet more choice to prospective students. While we assist students with A/L results with the required score on grades to gain direct entry to universities, those with lesser qualifications could gain entry through many quality pathway programmes of institutions we represent that are linked to universities.
